Glass Company has integrated the already high automation of the VULCAN oven with the system “Glass Break alert” (waiting for the patent) for the break detection of the glass in the hardening and cooling section. The system can mainly use three types of sensors: acoustic sensor, infrared barrier and vibration sensor.
The Glass Break Alert system is equipped with a software specially developed that can visualize the areas where the glass is broken allowing to the operators of the oven to rapidly identify the blower zone where the breaking of the glass is happening without losing time especially when the hardening cycles are very short, another function of the SW is to analyze also the quantity/percentage of the broken glass during the process and it can gather statistical data for different thicknesses.
The system “Glass Break Alert” is available as optional function for the new VULCAN ovens or as update for the existing hardening lines of any kind of manufacturer, not only Jinglass.
