VisionMek: Assembly machine for FULL VISION IGU

The VisionMek assembly machine represents the core of the production process for FULL VISION insulating glass units with transparent glass spacers.

Developed by Glass Company, the machine automates every stage of insulating glass preparation and assembly, ensuring outstanding quality, precision and process repeatability. The machine has been officially patented.

The machine can process glass spacers manufactured using different production methods:

produced with the Glass Company glass spacer processing machine;
manufactured using laser cutting technology;
or supplied directly by Glass Company as the finished product GLASSSPACER, laser-cut to size and ready for assembly into FULL VISION insulating glass units.

Description

This flexibility allows customers to choose the solution that best suits their production requirements: purchase the complete production line, integrate the assembly machine into an existing production facility, or simply use the ready-to-assemble glass spacers supplied by Glass Company.

The fully automated production cycle includes:

surface treatment using PLASMEK plasma technology to maximize adhesion between the glass and the spacer;
automatic dispensing of ultra-transparent UV resin through a precision micro-dosing system;
automatic positioning of the glass spacers;
controlled pressing;
UV curing using ultraviolet lamps.

Glass spacers are normally applied to the two long sides of the insulating glass unit, while conventional desiccant-filled spacers are retained on the two short sides.
