3D LASER FOR SUB GLASS ENGRAVING

3D laser has been designed to engrave internally (in the thickness) glass plates and colorless transparent plastic material such as plexiglass, methacrylate, etc. also mirrored on one side.
The laser is able to engrave logos, writings, small numbers, images, drawings, decorations, etc. both two-dimensional and three-dimensional within transparent plates impossible to obtain with other technologies.
Sub-surface laser engraving is a special technique with which we are able to visualize different shapes within a transparent plate.
The laser beam penetrates the plate forming micro-opacities in certain points changing the structure of the material from transparent to opaque.
The laser reaches a maximum internal engraving speed of about 10,000 points / second, so the image creation time is given by the design construction and the skill of the designer to
create a drawing with an optimal dot / engraving / effect ratio.
The laser can work on already laminated glass, the important thing is that at least one of the two faces is not mirrored or reflective.
The laser is also able to generate engraving inside the glass that will be tempered, there are limitations for this engraving type since not all the decorations make the glass tempereable after the engraving.
The machine has several working options and when it is necessary to temper the glass, the software modifies the internal geometry of the drawing making it suitable for tempering.
The internal engraving can be done on almost the entire thickness of the glass, it is necessary to maintain an unworked thickness of about 1-1.5mm from each surface, so the thicker the glass, the better the result.
